Psychotherapy, or talk therapy, is a space for individuals to reflect, process, and work through life’s challenges. It begins with a trusting, supportive relationship between therapist and client—one built on safety, acceptance, and respect.
In this space, you’re invited to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. Together, we work to help you feel better, gain clarity, resolve daily life struggles more effectively, and make meaningful shifts in how you think, feel, and respond to the world around you.
Sandtray therapy is a creative and imaginative process that allows clients of all ages to express themselves using sand and miniature figures. Without needing to use words, clients can create scenes—or "worlds"—that reflect their inner thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
The tactile, sensory nature of the sand is soothing and grounding. It offers a safe, non-verbal yet tangible way to explore emotions, share personal stories, and work through challenges or conflicts. Whether it's used for reflection, healing, or problem-solving, sandtray can be a powerful tool for growth and connection.
Play Therapy offers clients a gentle and natural way to express what they’re feeling inside. While adults often talk through their problems, children—and even teens—tend to use play to make sense of their world. Through play, they can explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences in a way that feels safe and familiar. In play therapy, we might use toys, art, storytelling, or games—whatever speaks your child’s language. These tools help them share what’s on their mind, even when they don’t have the words. It’s a supportive space where they can feel seen, heard, and understood just as they are.
It’s completely normal for children and teens to feel frustrated, stressed, or anxious, even about everyday things like homework, screen time, bedtime routines, or rising expectations at school and home. Anytime kids are faced with new situations or increasing demands, it’s natural for them to feel uncomfortable and react.
While many of these challenges are simply part of growing up, sometimes a child’s reactions or behaviors go beyond what’s expected. They may begin to interfere with daily routines, relationships, or the things they enjoy. When that happens, it’s often a sign that your child or teen is feeling overwhelmed—and it might be time for extra support.
Parent Coaching focuses on you—your strengths, challenges, and goals as a parent. Together, we’ll explore how your parenting style, beliefs, expectations, and emotional responses have been shaped over time. I’ll support you in developing new skills and practical strategies that help you align your intentions with your actions, so you can create meaningful and lasting changes in your parenting.
Through therapy, parents and their children, gain deeper understanding of one another, improve communication, and develop healthier ways of resolving conflict and managing stress.
I utilize a variety of play therapy techniques, including expressive art, puppet play, sand tray therapy, and talk therapy, to help clients process their emotions deeper, enhance problem-solving skills, and foster a positive self-concept.
